Gentlemen,

I've swapped a 10hp yanmar diesel into my Sears SS15. The motor is out of a generator and the problem I am having is that I cannot get it below 2200 rpm without dying. This only gives me 1000 rpm to use. Now I have watched youtube videos and seen swaps on this site and others where the motor will come down some and there is a good throttle control but no luck on mine. I have the adjustable throttle plate on it, but I think the problem is with the generator injector pump.

Any help is welcomed!
